Brasserie Boulud to Debut as Grand Two-Floor French Brasserie Near Lincoln Center in 2026

Source: Eater NY

Chef Daniel Boulud is set to reestablish his presence near Lincoln Center with the launch of Brasserie Boulud, a substantial new French brasserie scheduled to open in spring 2026 at 1900 Broadway, adjacent to West 64th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. This new project replaces three previous Boulud establishments in the same vicinity — Bar Boulud, Boulud Sud, and Épicerie Boulud — which closed in summer 2025.

Occupying approximately 7,500 square feet over two floors, Brasserie Boulud will feature a 27-seat central bar as a focal point, alongside private dining rooms designed for more intimate gatherings. The venue will also include a speakeasy-style space, adding an element of discreet sophistication to the sizable footprint.

Design and Institutional Significance

The design for Brasserie Boulud is crafted by the Rockwell Group, known for combining elegance with functionality in hospitality environments. The scale and scope of this project underscore Boulud’s commitment to long-term institutional presence near Lincoln Center, a notable cultural and performing arts hub on the Upper West Side.

Details on the full menu and operational specifics remain forthcoming as the opening approaches. For additional context and coverage of upcoming New York City restaurant developments, refer to Eater NY’s preview of anticipated 2026 openings.
