Oriana to Bring Large-Format Wood-Fired Dining to Nolita in Early 2026

Source: Eater NY

Chef Andy Quinn and sommelier Cedric Nicaise, known for their work at Noortwyck, are set to open a new dining destination called Oriana in Nolita. The restaurant is anticipated to debut in March or April of 2026 at 174 Mott Street.

Oriana will occupy two stories, totaling roughly 5,600 square feet. The venue’s culinary focus centers on a wood-fired grill, promising a large-format, smoky approach to the menu. Complementing the kitchen, Oriana will boast an extensive cellar housing approximately 7,000 bottles.

A Dressed-Up Expansion in Nolita

This new project represents a more dramatic and elevated expansion for the Noortwyck team within Lower Manhattan. While specifics about the menu and pricing have yet to be released, the scale and design suggest a significant statement for the neighborhood’s dining scene.

Details remain limited as the opening approaches, with more information expected closer to launch. The preview of Oriana was noted recently by Eater NY as part of a roundup of anticipated New York City restaurant openings in 2026.
