Chef Lina Perez Leaves Blue Ridge Grill for New Venture in Queens

Chef Lina Perez has announced her departure from Blue Ridge Grill, where she served as executive chef for three years. Her last day at the Manhattan restaurant was April 15.

Perez is preparing to open a new dining establishment in Queens. The project, details of which are still under wraps, is expected to launch in the fall. She said the move reflects a desire to explore new culinary directions and engage with a different community.

Blue Ridge Grill, known for its American cuisine, will continue operations under the current management. A spokesperson confirmed the search for a new chef is underway.

Perez’s new venture will mark her first restaurant outside Manhattan. Queens has become a growing hub for diverse dining concepts in recent years.

Further information about the Queens project will be released in the coming months. Meanwhile, Perez remains focused on completing her transition.
