Golden Steer, a steakhouse with a 68-year history in Las Vegas, has opened a new location in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village. The restaurant opened its doors several months ago and has quickly established a consistent presence in the neighborhood.

The Village outpost closely mirrors the original Las Vegas venue in both design and atmosphere. Its interior features Western-themed paintings and wall sconces modeled after those at the Strip location. The decor blends elements of vintage glamour and kitsch, creating a familiar environment for patrons who have visited the Nevada site.

The expansion marks a notable example of a longstanding Vegas restaurant entering the New York market. While steakhouses are common in Manhattan, Golden Steer’s transplant offers a distinctive take by replicating the look and feel of its original Strip setting.

No major changes to the menu or concept have been reported since the opening. The restaurant aims to provide a traditional steakhouse experience consistent with its Las Vegas roots, adapted for the Greenwich Village clientele.

Golden Steer’s arrival contributes to the diverse dining options in the Village, an area known for a mix of longstanding establishments and newer entrants.
