A new seafood restaurant opened this week at 508 West 24th Street in Chelsea, occupying the space that was home to Trattoria Napoli for more than 25 years. The Italian restaurant closed in late 2023 after the owners decided to retire.

The new establishment, called Harbor Catch, focuses on a menu centered around fresh fish and shellfish sourced from the Northeast. The dining room has been renovated with a modern, nautical theme, replacing the classic Italian décor.

Trattoria Napoli was a neighborhood fixture known for its traditional pasta dishes and brick-oven pizzas. The closure and subsequent opening reflect a broader trend in Chelsea’s dining scene, where classic restaurants make way for new concepts targeting changing tastes.

Harbor Catch is open for lunch and dinner daily. The owners have stated plans to maintain a moderate price range and local sourcing, aiming to attract both neighborhood residents and visitors.
