Smorgasburg will launch a weekly food market in Long Island City starting May 2. This marks the first regular Queens location for the Brooklyn-based outdoor food event.
The market will run Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Gantry Plaza State Park. Vendors will include a mix of returning favorites and new Queens-based food entrepreneurs.
Organizers say the expansion aims to capture Queens’ diverse culinary scene and cater to local residents and workers.
